What is Science Fair?
A science fair project is the chance for a student to ask a question about something they don't already know, then use the scientific method to perform an experiment in which they can gather data and form a conclusion. The whole project includes coming up with a question/project idea, actually doing the experiment while collecting data, writing a written report about the project, and creating a tri-board display.
Written reports will be turned in to teachers. Tri-board displays will be put out for parents and students to see, and then evaluated by judges to decide the top 3 projects in each category for each grade level.
Categories include Life Science, Consumer Science, Physical Science, and Earth and Space Science.
Every student at Harmony Science Academy- Fort Worth is required to complete a science fair project. The assignment is broken up into parts to make it more manageable for the students. Please see timeline below for assignment break down and due dates.
